Overview:
Goldlite's Disk On Module (DOM) is a high performance, embedded flash disk drive designed to replace a conventional IDE hard disk drive. DOMs can be plugged into a standard IDE connector commonly found in desktops, industrial PC,car PC, thin client, IT-STB, industrial PC and thin client systems. Goldlite's DOMs have a built-in microcontroller and file management firmware that communicates with ATA standard interfaces. This means DOMs do not require additional or proprietary host software such as Flash File System (FFS) and Memory Technology Driver (MTD) software. This product is well suited for embedded flash storage applications offering new and expanded functionality as well as more cost-effective designs, better performance and increased reliability.
